The E19 exhibition, running from 24 to 27 August 2023, brings together Frédéric Graf, Stefanie Koscevic, Philemon Lechot and MA Martin. The invitation states that the opening will take place on 24 August from 6.00 pm to 9.00 pm; Kunstbulletin confirms that the exhibition is being held at étage 19 in Nidau. Research reveals a constellation with strong local and regional roots: Graf is active in the Biel art scene and with Visarte; Koscevic works with painting and installation in Biel/Nidau; Lechot develops a drawing practice drawing on architecture and self-taught methods; and MA Martin is documented in Switzerland as a Brazilian multidisciplinary artist.

Frederic Graf is taking part in the E19 group exhibition in June 2026. His new works, created using a watercolour technique, are entitled *Horizont Nuit*.
Stefanie Koscevic is a visual artist based in Biel and Nidau. Her practice encompasses painting and installation; her website documents exhibitions in regional contexts, including E19 in 2023.
Stefanie Koscevic contributes to the E19 group exhibition with a practice that combines painting and installation, exploring colour, the play of light, materiality, rhythm and spatial effects.

Born in 1999 in Moutier, Philémon Léchot is an artist and architect based in Biel. A graduate with a Master’s degree in architecture from ETH Zurich and a member of Visarte Bern, he has developed an artistic practice centred on drawing and printmaking. Seeing his practice as a means of maintaining an intimate relationship with the world, he draws inspiration from his everyday observations.
In the E19 group exhibition, Philemon Lechot presents a drawing-based approach that draws on everyday life, observation, intimacy and figurative condensation.

MA Martin works across art, architecture, curatorial and special projects, running her practice under the name MA.Martin_Studio. Photography, printmaking and ceramics form recurring strands of her work, alongside sound-based projects. Brazilian artist based in Switzerland. She is a regular presence in the international art scene, and art scene of Biel/Bienne from 2019.
MA Martin was already a guest at étage 19 in 2023. .
