Artists
Simone Haug, born in Bern in 1981, lives in Biel/Bienne. She studied sociology, visual anthropology and fine art; her practice spans photography, painting, drawing, textiles and documentary-abstract interpretation.
On the E19 map for 2023, Simone Haug is part of a group exhibition featuring three artists. No title of the work or exhibition is visible on the map; the text is derived from the invitation, *Kunstbulletin* and general research on the artist.
Philippe Hinderling is an artist and teacher with strong regional roots who regularly exhibits in Switzerland. His documented works include installations, video, mixed media and conceptual projects.
Philippe Hinderling contributes a conceptual approach to installation and video art to the E19 exhibition. As no specific E19 work description is visible, the description remains deliberately general and based on source material.
Willi Mueller, born in Unterkulm in 1951, has lived and worked in Nidau on Lake Biel since 1981. After attending the Zurich School of Applied Arts, he developed his own distinctive style of painting; he is firmly rooted in the Biel art scene.
Willi Mueller brings to the E19 trio exhibition a long-established artistic practice that explores people, objects, places, light and inner visual spaces.
