Artists
Gina Donze is listed on the E19 map as an artist in the group exhibition held in August 2022. A reliable external source could not be found during a quick check; the entry therefore remains a deliberately marked historical map finding.
Edi Aschwanden, born in Lucerne in 1957, has lived in the Bernese Jura since 1984 and is a member of Visarte Bern. From 1982 to 2020, he was an artist and art educator at the School of Design in Biel; his practice encompasses drawing, objects, paintings and site-specific works that straddle the boundaries between functionality, imagination and aesthetic disruption.
Seven drawings by Edi were exhibited at Sabin & Reto as part of the E19 special event 7x. The exact group of works is not specified on the map; the identification as Edi Aschwanden is derived from research carried out by Bieler Kunstkontext.
Kaspar Flueck, born in Solothurn in 1989, lives and works as an artist in Basel and Zurich. Following a foundation course and a specialism in graphic design at the School of Design in Bern and Biel, he developed a painterly practice that oscillates within multi-layered pictorial spaces between abstraction, surrealism, chiaroscuro, cosmic networks and emotional inner spaces.
In the E19 group exhibition, Kaspar Flueck represents a painterly approach in which dark and light spaces, inner landscapes and cosmic structures merge.
Roland Flueck is a painter from Solothurn. A corporate art documentary by Agathon describes his long-standing artistic collaboration with the company; he works in his studio in Solothurn.
In the E19 group exhibition, Roland Flueck represents a painterly approach from the Solothurn scene.
Tobias Hauswirth, born in Biel in 1998, lives and works in Brussels. He went on to complete the MA Painting programme at the Royal College of Art in London and has been featured in several Swiss and international exhibitions.
In the E19 group exhibition, Tobias Hauswirth presents a fresh approach to painting from the Biel art scene.
Andre Vladimir Heitz is an author and designer working in the fields of perception, design, drawing and design theory.
In the E19 group exhibition, Andre Vladimir Heitz represents a position at the intersection of drawing, perception, design and reflection on artistic processes.
